When I conducted this research, game feel was still a relatively unexplored area among my peers, with a few notable and cherished exceptions (check Bibliography). I hope to see this field recognized as a key aspect of game development. And to do so, I need your feedback, wherever you are in space and time, whether you're a professional or an amateur, developer or psychologist.

Interest : In games, sensations guide and engage players emotionally, such as they are the reward, the player’s goal. These are felt via the senses when using the controller and the perception of direct feedback on actions.
Goal : I want to awaken the artist within you, giving you the keys to share the sensations you experienced that inspired you to cross to the other side of the screen. You will be able to develop your own methodology for creating powerful and consistent sensations across any type of core gameplay using development to psychology technics!

Sensations are generated by internal stimulus (emotions, diseases) and external stimulus (senses). They last as long as the stimulus, and that’s the biggest difference with emotions.
Playing a video game means interacting with it, performing actions, and perceiving feedback. Ultimately, processing this pattern in our brain allows us to feel sensations.
